Inviting applications for the role of Manager, Reporting AnalystResponsibilities- Perform various reporting duties including production of accurate and timely critical management reports and ad hoc data requests
- Discover and manipulate data using SQL, Python/R
- Solve data challenges, data consistency issues, act as one point of contact for BI/reporting team for any data related query
- Support design, build and deploy BI solutions and manage and improve existing BI systems
- Able to comprehend and translate complex and advanced functional, technical and business requirements into executable architectural designs.
- Importing and redefining data for Business Intelligence.
- Conduct unit testing and troubleshooting.
- Develop and update technical documentation
- Build test scenarios to maintain quality standards in the reporting
- Help the BI team to test the dashboards, find issues and verify data transformations are applied accurately
- Bachelors in a quantitative field, economics, engineering background
- Proven experience in a Reporting analyst / Data Analyst
- Advanced working SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases, query authoring (SQL) as well as working familiarity with a variety of databases.
- Hands on Experience with analytical tools and languages (e.g. R and Python, VBA)
- Report designing, development and deployment using Power BI and Proficient with front-end development and know visualization standard methodologies
- Experienced in data integration through extracting, transforming and loading (ETL) data from various sources.
- Able to provide data validation, transformation, perform testing and accuracy in reporting/insights
- Experience in performing root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to answer specific business questions and find opportunities for improvement.
- Test cases development for future dashboard testing
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment and excellent analytical skills
- Good interpersonal skills (verbal/written) to deliver the technical insights and interpret the data reports to the clients
