About the Role
You will work as part of Operations group within Consumer & Small Business Banking in Wells Fargo Bank, N.A. The role would require working in a team of Operations Accountants to fulfill work type requirement of performing mid to high complex tasks within Writs & Levies processing & meet service level agreement as defined by the business. The work would require experience in research and analysis & eye to detail. Role would require reading, interpreting, researching, and processing levy/writ releases, payouts, and other legal documents on behalf of Wells Fargo. Understanding legal documents, laws, and bank procedures to remain compliant with external and internal requirements. Using multiple online systems such as 1LLG and Hogan to analyze and research legal documents to determine specific course of action. Assisting other team members to support team goals. Working under minimal supervision following established procedures.

Responsibilities
  • An Operations Accountant 3 will performs a variety of operational tasks for the most complex processes or functions
  • Takes accountability of receipt of work to resolution and closure
  • Tasks require coordination of information among various operational areas and customers. Uses multiple online systems
  • Duties may include receiving and reviewing incoming work, contacting appropriate resources as needed, entering transactions into systems, verifying with accuracy; resolving complex customer/client requests using multiple resources and records
  • Preparing, editing, distributing, and/or correcting specialized and/or complex documents. Works under general supervision following established procedures
  • Exercises some judgment within guidelines
  • Flexibility towards work on different processes/assignments and shifts
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and takes team initiatives
  • Connect with LOB partners on conference calls/understand updates etc.
  • Awareness and maintenance of process related reports
Essential Qualifications
  • University degree in Business, Commerce or any other discipline
  • Experience of more than 4 plus years in banking/Financial Services operations
  • 2 plus years working experience with mid to high complexity process
  • Strong analytical skills with eye to details
  • Strong communication skills both written and spoken
  • Good command on Coaching, training and mentoring new joiners/existing team members
  • Flexible with working in US operational hours i.e. India night shifts
  • Schedule is considered to be openended. Additional/extended hours may be required based on business need
