Job Description

 Role: Hadoop Support Role

Level and Technology:

2 to 4 years of strong production support engineer experience

L 1.5 Support

Experience in Hadoop (Hive/HDFS/OOZIE/Sqoop/Tez/SPARK/KAFKA)

Good Experience in data management projects (structure/unstructured databases, process data streams, ETLs, ELTs, reporting)

Strong Experience with Hadoop ETL / Data Ingestion: Sqoop, Flume, Hive, Spark, Hbase, etc.

Well versed working experience in Unix/Linux environments

Proficiency in writing SQL

Basic understanding of working of any RDBMS DB and exposure to support ETL Jobs, any one of ETL Tools (BODS / SSIS / Informatica, etc.)

Strong hands-on Experience in Job Monitoring and batch process management system

Strong hands-on Experience in analyzing Job Failures & identifying the cause for failure and remediate the failure

Working knowledge of batch Schedulers such as Tidal/CA Automic/Autosys or any other workload automation tool

Ability to Debug the production issue and perform the level of Impact Analysis in Technical and Functional terms

PL/SQL

Functions along with different queries which you will need in programming body of the plsqlStructured Query Language (SQL) - write queries and other basic database statements. programming language - should know at least one programming language. Designed, developed, and implemented Oracle PL/SQL applications for security positions and transactions.

Used Oracle Advanced concepts like types, PL/SQL tables and V-Arrays, and dynamic SQL in generating the complex extracts from the database.

Designed and Developed Staging tables, Data Conversion SQL Loader Program, and Custom PL/SQL API to import data from the legacy system.
