Responsibilities
- Understanding of Bank statements, remittances/ invoices from Brokers / Cedent.
- Sound understanding of Facultative & Treaty Re-insurance business
- Identification and recording of Incoming cash receipts for Insurance & Re-Insurance Business Different types of policies, Manual / Automated programs, Non-programs, etc.
- Should have experience and understanding of Surety Business (incoming & outgoing)
- Perform and review multi-currency revaluations for foreign currency cash receipts.
- Should have sound Knowledge of Lloyds Market and Xchanging platform.
- Research and resolve open items for Bank reconciliations and coordinate with multiple stakeholders to provide a resolution.
- Prepare internal reports for various stakeholders
- Ensure key risks and issues relating to Cash applications are identified, documented, and communicated to the appropriate stakeholders and senior management promptly.
- Actively work towards streamlining of the Unreconciled Cash & build effective controls.
- Actively work towards building deep domain depth in the team around Cash application for Property & Casualty Insurance & Re-Insurance Co.
- Closely working with Underwriting Assistance team to ensure Premium bookings and booking corrections
- Daily Quality Check for the matching which team has matched.
- Preparing VIC, conducting 1-0-1 for all team members.
- Updating FLM Cockpit daily

- Strong Analytical skills
- Self-starter, with the ability to work under own initiative.
- Must demonstrate a high level of self-motivation, energy, and flexibility
- Ability to handle varied volumes of workloads and to reach targets and deadlines on a timely basis
- Innovative and always looking for continuous improvement
- Good Communication skills
- Analytically & Academically sound
- Insurance/ Reinsurance Cash Application background would be an added advantage
Preferred qualifications
- Good Excel & Presentation skills
