Inviting applications for the role of Principal Consultant Database Developer/DBA
Primary responsibilities
Provide technical support for our developers
Issue and Error Troubleshooting and Resolution
Database monitoring and Performance Tuning
Coordinating major and minor upgrades
On-call support Required Technical Skills:3+ years of Hands-on experience with the following:
Database platforms: DB2 plus one or more of the following: MSSQL, Sybase, Oracle
Programming languages, one or more of the following: Perl, Java , Python
Experience with Database Utilities including export and load / backup and recovery
Experience working in unix environment
Educational qualification and experience:
Experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications
Experience in Service IT Service Industry is a must
Bachelor s degree in engineering/computer science or MCA from recognized institution
Good in Networking skills
Good Communication & rapport building skills
Preferred qualifications
Strong interpersonal skills, excellent written and oral communication.
Must be able to work in an English environment
