We are inviting applications for the role of Manager, Statuary Closing & Reporting
Were looking for an accounting graduate who can Supplies to monthly, quarterly and annual financial close processes. Conducts analysis of the research and documentation of financial analysis, ad hoc requests and special projects. Prepares reviews and verifies the accuracy of financial documents and data. Recommends and implements accounting methods and procedures.
Responsibilities:- Prepare journal entries in accordance with company policy and generally accepted accounting principles.
- Balance sheet Account s analysis and explain all items and activity contained within each account.
- Calculate & process allocations or recharges, netting & processing inter-company settlements and Prepare allocations of expenses, reserves etc.
- Booking Associates/subsidiaries financials and Review, analyze and adjust financial reporting package submissions.
- Preparation of monthly/quarterly/annual financials (income statement, balance sheet and statement of cash flows) and additional supplementary schedules and finalization of Premium and Claim numbers per STAT requirement.
- Responsible for coordinating reporting and review of periodic financials for an insurance company and Assist quarterly and annual audit
Minimum Qualification
- B.Com/CA
- Understanding of Property and Casualty Insurance business
- Should have experience and understand the framework of multiple reporting requirements (US GAAP/STAT)
- Excellent Interpersonal skills
- Strong Accounting knowledge.
- Experience of year-end audit for Financial Documents.
- Experience in transition of processes from US/global locations.
- Experience of front ending with customer, issue escalation
- Good experience with ERP - Preferably Phenomenal Plains; IT savvy & proficient in excel Understands interface processes with accounting ledger
