Lead Consultant Proxy Admin

Enterprise Wide Internet services running on proxy solutions mainly Zscaler and McAfee

To handle Incident Management, Change Management following the ITIL Standards.

The requisite is to have deep expertise on leading proxy solutions like Zscaler, McAfee and other related NW services like Firewalls, Routers, packet captures, GRE tunnels, VPN, DNS services, web filtering and URL policy management. Working/conceptual knowledge on other coordinated technologies like OKTA/Active directory, O365 services would be an additional advantage

Responsibilities
  • Prime area of focus will be to handle Incident Management, Change Management following the ITIL Standards.
  • Provide 2nd line support on all, including complex Proxy issues - liaising with customer representatives or vendors and supporting/advising other support staff where appropriate. This will include the support of new and existing products that come under the responsibility of the team
  • Handle standard change request, according to our change control and risk review process
  • Manage weekly reviews with SME for sophisticated IT implementations across towers including applications, products etc.
  • Ability to provide Tier 2 support and manage and escalated tickets in production environment
  • Needs to manage relationship and resolve dispute if any between and partner stakeholders
  • Designing, implementing and maintaining the enterprise architecture for their assigned security domain(s).
  • Ensure quality work - review and validate the technical configuration changes and provide consultative ideas
  • Drive Service improvement projects across in partnership with internal and partner teams
  • Explore opportunities to optimize and ensure we are in line with customer requirements
  • To maintain a lab environment for training, testing of services and support of customers
Key Technical Skills

Should have experience in Azure Administration,Microsoft Active Directory

Demonstrated success diagnosing technical issues Qualifications we seek Minimum qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent subject
  • Basic knowledge of creating managing Pac files
  • Candidate with rich experience in Installation, configuration
  • Knowledge on Proxies in Corporate Environment
  • Should have good understanding and hands on various Proxy Layer7 technologies for e.g. Zscaler, Bluecoat, McAfee Web Gateway
  • Experience in handling/updating Helpdesk Management tools like BMC/Service now etc.
  • Handling/Preparing Excel based reports
  • Certification/Conceptual knowledge in firewall/Proxy/Networking/VPN
  • Review and validate procedural documents to add value to the BAU.
  • Excellent architectural, conceptual, functional and technical skills
Preferred qualification
  • Very good written and presentation / verbal communication skills with experience of customer interfacing role .In-depth requirement understanding skills with good analytical and problem solving ability, interpersonal efficiency, and positive attitude

Key Technical Skills

Should have experience in Azure Administration

Three to five years relevant professional experience

Three years Microsoft Active Directory experience

Excellent interpersonal skills

Demonstrated success diagnosing technical issues

Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes quickly

Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Experience managing external vendors and internal stakeholders

Qualifications

  • Preferred:

  • 3 to 5 years IT experience

Preferred qualifications
Strong technical expertise with a desire to learn & develop good learning curve.

Solid process skills with an understanding of change control processes and managing critical production environments

Strong inter-personal, analytical thinking, presentation and communication skills essential
