Inviting applications for the role of Axiom DeveloperIn this role, you will be responsible for delivering services and data strategy articulation role for BFS business. Functioning as a SPOC for business & IT teams to ensure accurate requirements are elicited, lead their traceability end to end during the project lifecycle & enable the project to meet its objective.
You are responsible for specification, development, test and rollout of features on our data platform. You are encouraged to contribute to the vision, understand our product roadmap, integrate business value and client experience and contribute to build an engineering culture within the team. This initiative is of critical important to the success of the organization and our roadmap. Accurate, granular, complete and timely data will be our key differentiating factor and competitive advantage in the market place.
Responsibilities- You will work as a passionate Axiom Developer focusing on the development and maintenance of our regulatory reporting systems
- Work with the Technical Delivery Lead and Solutions Architect to ensure deliverables conform to architectural, technical, security and data access standards
- Unit testing components to ensure deliverables meet acceptable quality metrics
- Pro-actively identify and manage data risk, ensuring risks are understood by related parties and developing risk mitigants
- Full development life cycle; from development through to deployment of deliverables to Production environments
- Development using Axiom Tool and product implementation.
- Work with business SMEs to develop the logics for banking regulations and related regulated reports/taxonomy using AxiomSL Controller View tool.
- Good understanding of Data architecture, Data analysis & modelling, crafting Hypercubus
- Actively identify and coordinate/discuss with related teams for better delivery.
- Full development life cycle; from development through to deployment of work to Production environments
- Understand the Agile methodology
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum qualifications- BTech
- You will be an experienced Axiom Developer with experience in technical analysis, Data Warehousing and ETL technologies
- Knowledge of regulatory capital projects will be advantageous in particular, knowledge of Axiom reporting Taxonomy
- Good knowledge of individual objects of Axiom (Aggregation, Data Models, Portfolios, Stream and Instance Keys etc.) including their various configurations and settings
- Hands on experience with regulatory reporting systems is essential
- You ll be someone that defines a clear success criterion with a focus on customer service and stakeholder engagement
- You will be adaptable to changing priorities and managing multiple conflicting requests.
- Previous experience in Investment Banking or Financial Services organisations an advantage
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- A Tertiary degree in IT or similar subject
- Knowledge of Axiom Tool, SQL, data warehouse
- Any ETL tool, Regulatory Reporting, Banking and finance
