ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you would be responsible for providing Enhancement & Development services in a Java/Database environment during regular hours. Candidate will be working with SMEs, Business Analyst, module developers & Users complete end-to-end SDLC for Capital Market Client.
Additional responsibilities shall include contributing in designing and documenting of the software architecture based on existing architecture and inputs received from Client from time to time. Perform unit testing, integration testing and UAT as and when required. Also, engage with Client in requirement gathering, Status update on work, UAT and be the key partner in the overall engagement.
Qualifications we seek in youMinimum qualifications
BE/B Tech/MCA
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred qualifications- Be responsible for defining, developing, and evolving software in a fast paced and agile development environment using the latest software development technologies and infrastructure
- Translate requirements / vision into prioritized list of user stories and deliver to required timelines and quality standards
- Apply principles of SDLC and methodologies like Lean/Agile/XP, CI, Software and Product Security, Scalability, Documentation Practices, refactoring, and Testing Techniques
- Write code that meets standards and delivers desired functionality using the technology selected for the project
- Understand performance parameters and assess application performance
- Work on core data structures and algorithms and implement them using technology chosen
- Proactively share information across the team, to the right audience with the appropriate level of detail and timeliness
- Make technology choices at individual level and has ability to analyze impact
- Strong foundational knowledge on computer science principles
- Flexible to work in shifts, Detail-Oriented, Motivated, Dedicated, Positive, Polite, Approachable
- Solid understanding of Object Oriented Analysis and Design, Software Design Patterns, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, JQuery, AngularJS, Polymer, ReactJS, Java and Microservices is expected.
- Good experience in UI Unit testing frameworks
- Experience in the entire build and test stack for Javascript, including NPM/Bower, Grunt, Gulp for build and packaging and Jasmine, Mocha and Chai for unit testing
- Nice to have Docker experience and building publicly accessible websites.
- Good experience in Application performance tuning and troubleshooting
- Ability to takes ownership of small and medium sized tasks and deliver while mentoring and helping team members
- One who is Passionate about technology, problem solving, ability to adapt new skills, sharing expertise and knowledge
- Excellent client facing skills that include conducting compelling technical briefing & demonstrations. The person should have a technical curiosity to implement new technologies and articulate the solutions to the client
