Job Description
- Develop and deploy new ServiceNow applications, functionality, and features
- Maintain instance health and performance
- Participate in the upgrade/patching process
- Work with customers to identify new and better solutions to suit their needs
- Foster and maintain an Out of the Box mentality when it comes to configuration
- Leverage native platform configuration frameworks rather than defaulting to script everything
- Participate in story ingest and refining sessions, including suggesting alternative technical solutions
- Work within the Scrum Agile framework to deliver work in a timely manner
- Establish and maintain integrations with external applications, either through IntegrationHub or APIs
- Work directly with customers to address any broken or under performing functionality within the platform
Core skills:
- B. Tech/MCA or Equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience developing and supporting enterprise software applications in a corporate, commercial, start-up, or institutional environment
- JavaScript expertise
- Fluent in all SN specific configuration technologies

- GlideRecord functionality
- REST API and JSON expertise
- Data import expertise
- Data sources
- Scheduled imports
- Import Set tables
- Transform maps
- ITOM expertise, including Discovery and Service Mapping
- Knowledge and adherence of ServiceNow best practices (such as leveraging update sets to move work between instances)
- Independence, autonomy, and communication skills to work with customers directly
- Working with Flow Designer and IntegrationHub
- Knowledge of the Common Service Data Model (CSDM)
- CMDB and Asset Management expertise
Good to Have skills:
- Familiarity with the Scrum Agile framework
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and AngularJS for Service Portal work
- Knowledge of non-standard application suites, such as Software Asset Management
- ServiceNow certifications:

- Familiarity with the Virtual Agent conversation builder
- Familiarity with Predictive Intelligence and Natural Language Understanding (NLU) functionality
