Frontend React Developer @ AMSYS IT

Job Description

Responsibilities

Developing new user-facing features using React.js

Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use, smartly and quickly

Translating designs and wireframes into high quality code

Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and

browsers

Coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure

Collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is important. Clever

solutions with complex data structures.

Necessary Skills

Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles

Thorough understanding of Redux Framework and the principles of state persistence

Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model

Skilled with EcmaScript6 features, such as async/await, Promises, and arrow functions

Skilled with CSS/SCSS and familiar with mobile-first design principles. Familiarity with Bootstrap 3/4

is a plus

Experience with RESTful APIs and modern authentication mechanisms

Experience using code versioning tools such as Git, SVN, and Mercurial on a team

Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements

Pluses:

A knack for benchmarking and optimization

Experience with React testing tools

Familiarity with Firebase/GCP or other Serverless cloud solutions

Familiarity with Node.js Express servers and MongoDB

Familiarity with modern front-end development tools, such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
