Flatirons Solutions is looking to hire a Technical Support Specialist to join our India office!

  • As a Technical Support Specialist, you will work as part of a global team with the goal of delivering world class technology and exceptional customer service to Flatirons employees across all our offices.
  • You will have the responsibility of working with a wide range of employees and departments, from your everyday end-user to your C-level executive, to help identify and resolve issues.
  • Flatirons is a growing company and there's a lot of opportunity to work with a broad range of technologies, people, and applications. Here are just a few of the things you'll get involved in: verify issues and work with development on delivering fixes, directly influence application direction through customer feedback, collaborate with our global team to serve customers worldwide and publish knowledge articles to our customer self-help portal.

More About You

We are looking for someone with not only the technical ability, but also a passion for customer service. You research and play with new technologies in your spare time, and you know how to translate complex technical ideas for non-technical people.

  • Experience working in a Service Desk or Technical Customer Service Role is an important component of your past with 3-5years' experience.
  • B.S in Information Systems, Information Technology, or equivalent.
  • A strong fit candidate would have experience utilizing and supporting products such as JIRA and Confluence, Office 365, Online Exchange, Active Directory, and VMWare.
  • You will have a keen focus on the task at hand with an ability to prioritize multiple requests while assessing customer exposure and risk.
  • Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential
  • You can demonstrate strong judgment, decision-making, drive, and insightful analytic skills
  • You ideally will be process oriented with flexibility to know when the process needs to change or evolve
  • Your soft skills should be exceptional for both internal customer and external vendor communications via phone, video conferences, presentations, and face-to-face meetings
  • Strong personal initiative and an internal temperature gauge for urgency will also be important to demonstrate

Even when difficult problems arise (of course they always do in support), were pretty sure youll be excited about coming to Flatirons everyday to do this job and to work on this team.
