Inviting applications for the role of AM, QC (Test) Engineer
Role Summary:
As a Test engineer, person should be involved in the Testing phases of software development and deployment.
Position is responsible for Testing (manual) to ensure the software created by developers is fit for purpose.
Test engineer should be involved in the analysis of software, and systems, to avert risk and prevent software issues
Test engineer should work closely with Product Development, Support, and other members to understand PVAI s software requirements for drug safety solutions to develop and execute test cases and scripts, defect management and ultimately be responsible for the validation of these products and ensure product quality.
Position also requires tracking quality assurance metrics (e.g. defect densities and open defect counts)
Responsibilities:
As a QC (Test) Engineer, the responsibilities include
- Review and Understand software Requirements/ Specifications to meet the customer intended purpose
- Understand system implementation, Collaborate and work with Test lead and Business analyst to implement the solution to customer.
- Author detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test suites and test cases
- Identify document the defects observed during Test execution, Verify the defects are fixed appropriately.
- Perform thorough regression testing when defects are resolved
- Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs
- Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
- Stay up to date with new testing tools and test strategies,
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications:
- Minimal Qualification: Bachelor s degree level or equivalent:
- Meaningful experience in developing and executing manual test scripts for Lifesciences software products, development and execution experience with System, Regression and Integration, testing against product version/release cycles.
- Experience in software development for the pharmaceutical industry or direct experience with pharmaceutical GxP quality assurance standards is preferable.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in software development for the pharmaceutical industry or direct experience with pharmaceutical GxP quality assurance standards is must.
