ResponsibilitiesIn this role you will be handling the backend operations of Retirement Portfolio of one of the largest Retail US Bank.
- Will be required to perform KYC/ Anti Money Laundering (AML) on the New and Existing IRA accounts. Processing of financial transactions Contributions, Distributions and Change of Investment in IRA accounts and to handle the Account Maintenance activities. To perform investigations on Client disputes and perform tax reporting as per Internal Revenue Service (IRS) guidelines
- Account opening of IRA s, processing documents or forms: Traditional, Roth, Rollover, SEP and Keogh Plans
- Distribution of retirement funds via check or in checking account, includes Tax withholding, Transfer of retirement funds to different institutions and trusts. Contribution of funds into new or existing IRA Change of investment options within IRA accounts moving or taking funds from different institutions (Rollovers and Incoming Transfer).Maintaining client records in IRA account: adding Beneficiaries/Update address, email, telephone number, SSN etc. Sending documents/account statements/forms and confirmation letters to AOR
- KYC of new or existing customers or screening of new bene s added in the IRA account
- Due Diligence of Dormant accounts and to perform Escheatment
- Provide excellent customer service to our customers
Qualifications we seek in youMinimum qualifications
- Any Graduate (Relevant experience of Retail Banking will be an added advantage)
- Freshers are eligible
- Knowledge of retirement plans, IRAs, procedures, resources, tax laws, and regulations required (US banking preferred).
- Experience in EDD/CDD/AML/KYC of Retail Clients
- Working knowledge of significant regulations, US Tax forms (W9,1099-R, 5498 etc.), product knowledge of IRAs and tax laws that apply to client
Preferred qualifications- Effective probing skills and analyzing / understanding skills
- Problem solving skills with customer centric approach
- Must be able to work on a flexible schedule (including weekend shift work)
- Excellent written communication for letter drafting, analysis, problem solving, and time management required.
