Job Description
Manager Technology /Security Risk Management
In this role, the Manager Identifies, Analyzes, Records, and Reports various Technology & Privacy Risks, in the Enterprise. Performs focused risk assessment of existing and new IT services, technologies & processes to assess the risks qualitatively (and quantitatively where feasible). Engages with Business & IT Leadership to articulate risks and facilitate appropriate risk response decisions. Actively tracks and reports the status of remedial measures periodically.
Responsibilities
- Quickly orient with business context and organization s risk landscape.
- Perform a focused risk assessment of key Business or Technology services on a periodic and need basis
- Analyze the risks qualitatively and quantitatively (where feasible) to evaluate and prioritize risks the organization should focus on.
- Explore, Identify & Implement and Recommend appropriate technological & administrative controls & monitoring capabilities to mitigate/minimize risks.
- Actively track and support efforts to ensure risks are mitigated timely & effectively.
- Perform Periodic Risk Reporting to all stakeholders.
- Maintain excellent working relationships with Business, IT & other Security groups in the organization.
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum qualifications
- Relevant Bachelor s Degree or equivalent
- Proven track record of performing Risk assessments, analysis, evaluation, and working with senior stakeholders to get sufficient attention to risks in their service areas.
- Solid Information security & Risk Management fundamentals, Risks & Controls.
- Excellent Verbal & written communication skills, along with strong business context orientation, to engage with business and IT Leadership, to assess & articulate risks, and facilitate risk response decisions.
- Learning agility - to quickly acquire new skills/knowledge & continual professional development; Seeks to learn & apply learnings to the work.
- Must be self-driven and experienced at handling cultural diversity and
Preferred qualifications
- The analytical, problem-solving approach to weigh in risks logically & recommend the most appropriate options.
- Knowledge of Information and Technology risks, threats, common controls, technologies.
- connect/collaborate effectively with other Teams.
- Security Certifications viz CISA, CRISC, CISSP or equivalent.
