We are inviting applications for the role of Sr.Associate, Unix & SQL Expert
In this role, you are expected to provide support of daily/weekly Model release to IRI s end clients The individual must be an active contributor towards the overall objective of the project by delivering the work on-time with at most quality. We are looking for some who should be open to work in any shift as per the business requirement.
ResponsibilitiesThe Role demands the following.
- Demonstrated ability to quickly grasp technical concepts or practices
- Experience working with computer programs outside of Microsoft Office proficiently preferred
- Ability to thrive in an ever-changing environment with tight deadlines
- Ability to think differently and solve tickets faster
- Proficient in being able to lead troubleshooting of issues while providing clear and concise explanations as to what occurred and how it can potentially be prevented
- Ability to multitasking
- Interact with multiple teams to provide the correct resolutions
- Ability to work on a flexible schedule which includes weekend/night shifts
- Experience in SQL Server, relational databases, data analysis
- Experience in Linux/Unix systems and building scripts
- Knowledge of DB Architecture is good to have
- BE/B- Tech, BCA, MCA, MBA, BSc/MSc
- Strong analytical skills and problem solving skills.
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English are required.
- Relevant work experience preferred
- Experience working with retail data such as POS and Inventory is ideal
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software programs (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc )
- Must have strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks
- Must be customer service oriented with strong follow up skills
- Overall candidate should have problem solving, macro-level research and analytics approach and good in numbers.
- Good customer handling skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skill.
