The Role
The Technical Product Manager will work as the Product Owner for our delivery squads covering US and EMEA alongside technical consultants and the rest of the squad, to ensure that complex solutions are implemented efficiently, in a sustainable way. The primary responsibilities in this role will be to act as the SME on our capabilities from a technical point of view during the definition and planning stage and perform detailed requirements analysis on client implementation projects, and then lead the implementation. This role will be responsible to manage requests and priorities from EMEA and US Product Managers who will provide client s requirements and prioritization relevant for their region.
Responsibilities
Take responsibility for managing technical requirements from initial scoping through to end solution delivery. Be the subject matter experts (SME) for both the EMEA and the US region requirements.
Act as a liaison between stakeholders and their implementation teams in our US and EMEA regions to understand clients needs and chart out the best implementation by consulting with technical managers and the squad
Collaborate closely with product owners from core squads by feeding in requirements received from our clients that help enhance our core components.
Become the expert on the plethora of configurations available within EC and help standardize implementations across regions. This requires you to be adept with APIs.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with PMs from EMEA and US and their respective teams to understand client requirements thoroughly.
Assist in creating prototypes of the solution that will be implemented for the client.
Facilitate decision making with stakeholders and assess trade-offs to define the optimal solution that fulfills clients need.
Work with development teams by articulating the requirements clearly enabling timely delivery with focus on quality.
Own overall communication with internal stakeholders throughout the implementation process.
Ensure that quality assurance testing is thorough in verifying requirements are met.
Work with the scrum master, business stakeholders and other product owners to manage the product backlog.
Communicate with the wider technology teams to coordinate interdependencies and resolve issues.
Develop and maintain documentation to ensure a consistent and efficient delivery of solutions.
Requirements
Overall experience of 5-8 years.
At least 3-5 years of experience in a PM role handling multiple projects and multiple stakeholders.
Proven ability working across cross functional teams across geographies.
Excellent writing, communication, problem solving, organizational, presentation and analytical skills.
Ability to forge working relationships with various stakeholders within the organization
Ability to work independently, prioritize workload to meet deadlines and work well under pressure
Understanding of supporting technology and business processes + Logical and structured approach to problem solving
Excellent attention to detail
Prior experience in project management, business analysis and stakeholder management is a must
Experience with JIRA, Confluence is a plus
Experience with or exposure to Agile and software development
Prior development experience is a plus
Knowledge of the investment industry is a plus
