Products, R&D and Production business function is responsible for ensuring that Basware continues to provide its customers with industry-leading SaaS solutions to simplify operations and spend smarter. This global function creates and executes the product strategy, new product innovations, roadmap, design, product development and product launches for Baswares global product portfolio. Together with other Basware units, Products, R&D and Production ensures that our customers can successfully meet their business objectives through cooperating with Basware and using our product and service portfolio.

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to develop highly scalable cloud-based applications using state-of-the-art software and web technologies.

As a Senior Software Engineer, youll be part of our talented E2E Platform development team in charge of the Basware e-invoicing applications. The team oversees the building of a responsive, high-performance user experience for our cloud-based applications, accessed by over a million users across the globe.

Skills & Requirements

Our cloud applications are hosted on top of AWS Public Cloud and are used by our clients all around the world. We develop our applications by using technologies like Angular, TypeScript, .NET, Python, Java, and RabbitMQ. We use following state-of-the-art tools to develop and deliver our applications into production: Git, Stash, Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, Robot Framework, Selenium, and Docker. We also follow modern DevOps culture in the everyday work we do and utilize DevOps practices like continuous integration and continuous delivery in building our Microservice-based applications.

• 6+ years of experience in .NET/.NET Core (ASP.NET, C#, MVC LINQ, etc.).
• An expert in designing and delivering highly scalable solutions with Amazon Web Services, serverless and microservice architectures, and AWS Lambdas, and No-Sql databases.
• Knowledge of writing infrastructure as code (IaC) using CloudFormation or Terraform.
• Proficient understanding of AWS services (e.g. S3, EC2, Lambda, SNS, CloudFront, SQS, VPC, Kinesis, etc).
• Implement the applications CI/CD pipeline using the AWS CI/CD stack.
• Strong understanding of security best practices (e.g. IAM roles, KMS, etc)
• Strong experience in front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, JScript, JavaScript frameworks (Angular/React).
• Experience with Python, Flask and is skilled in wide variety of programming languages like Node.js.
