JOB TITLE
Quality Engineer - S/4HANA Asset and Service Management
ROLE
As a part of S/4HANA Asset and Service Management unit, we are committed to deliver innovative features and functionalities in service management for S/4HANA product (cloud and on premise).
As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for driving all quality management related tasks in a scrum team. You will closely work with the Team Product Owner to devise a test strategy for the solution and execute it. You will ensure functional depth in the quality checks and ensure a high quality product delivery. You will work in an agile cross-functional scrum engineering team of open-minded dedicated experts, collaborate with various stakeholders like customers, product managers or other teams across locations. You will have the opportunity to cover all stages and tasks within the complete software development lifecycle from design, coding, testing to quality assurance of complex product features in an international, cross-cultural environment.
As the Quality Engineer you will:
Prepare and execute quality assurance activities
Define test strategy and detailed test plans based on the overall Program Quality Strategy and Plan and perform test monitoring and reporting
Facilitate product testing using scrum methodology
Promote and verify done criteria and clean desk principles in team
Facilitate continuous improvement of test automation practices
Embrace lean and agile software development principles
EXPERIENCE
3-6 years working experience with BE/B Tech/ME/M Tech/MCA in computer science or related fields
Very good knowledge on running new functionality-, integration-, scenario-, ABAP unit-, regression-, end user- and product standard tests ideally in SAP S/4 HANA environment
Profound knowledge of test infrastructure, test tools, test case management, test reporting, test scheduling, test automation
Do traceability checks in Backlog Management System (JIRA) and SAP Test Workbench system (GTP)
Very high motivation to provide transparency on progress of quality goals
Be flexible to work with global teams in different time zones
