SUMMARY
We at S/4 PMCIE organization, part of the Intelligent Enterprise Group board area cater to innovations across various Industries and Strategic topics like SAP Cloud Platform, S/4, Fiori, Mobile, Analytics and especially in one of the major focus industries like Discrete Industries with a broad portfolio of SAP products in consumable sizes and thus shorten the time-to-value for our customers.
ROLE
- You will be responsible for the success, quality, cost management and delivery of the product within the Industry Cloud, Discrete Industries.
- Monitors market tendencies and technology trends. Analyzes technology trends and customer requirements to identify growth opportunities for SAP. Contributes to business case, develops and drives a product vision and a product roadmap. Customer roll-in. Conducts interviews, participates in customer events.
- To incorporate customer input into all product definitions. Owns and prioritizes product backlog which reflects customer and user needs in order to achieve competitive advantage and increases the value for the customer. Provides holistic overview on overall product backlog and ensures Product team and scrum teams have a comprehensive understanding of the product backlog.
- Conducts expert testing and validates planned and implemented scope throughout product lifecycle and ensures delivery of high quality software. Ensures both the internal stakeholders & external ecosystem is aware of the developments by working closely with stakeholders and customer groups. Lives innovative thinking
- Contributes to related communities
- Actively follows and shares developments and trends regarding new SAP and complimentary partner service and solution offerings, industry trends and other topic areas relevant for our product.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor of Engineering/Technology (BE/BTech), in Computer Science or allied branches, or master s in computer applications with 10 to 12 years of experience in building software products
- Strong ability to analyze, define and implement end-to-end business processes in a product development environment with a strong focus on process integration
- High customer orientation with a focus on quality and value for our client
- Results and execution focused, with a positive can-do attitude and attention to detail
- Worked in the global teams with high levels of collaboration
- Experience in management of products on the cloud
- SAP Product Management competencies, such as Requirements Engineering, especially for Cloud Applications and micro-services
- Knowledge of SAP Cloud Platform capabilities for application & services development
- Knowledge of SAP Business Solutions and technology landscape
- Functional knowledge on Automotive sector will be an added advantage
- Knowledge of Java/J2EE, Web Technologies like JavaScript, and building Web Services, especially microservices
- DevOps model for Cloud development, Continuous Integration & Continuous Delivery
- Analytical and presentation skills
