Job Description

Urgent opening for Vice President - Sales & Operations for a reputed Engineering & Technical Services for their Material Handling & Sampling Equipment division. The position will be based in Kolkata.

Looking for dynamic Techno-Commercial professionals (Mechanical Engineering background preferred) from Capital Equipment/ Industrial Machinery/ Automatic & Semi-automatic Equipment sector having around 20 years of experience in Technical Sales/ Industrial Sales/ Business Development/ Client Relationship Management. The ideal candidate must be currently working in a Leadership role with Profitability responsibilities. 

Candidates can be from across India but must be ready to relocate to Kolkata for a long term to spearhead the business growth and profitability of the division.

Note: Candidates with experience of handling products like Industrial machinery/ Capital Equipment/ Material Handling Equipment/ Sampling Equipment/ Crusher/ Conveyor etc. and catering to Industrial clients in Steel/ Metal/ Mining/ Power/ Cement sectors shall be preferred

Eligibility & Skills: 

1) Education: BE - Mechanical preferred. Else BE - Electrical/ Electronics/ Production/ Metallurgy
2) Experience: About 18 to 22 years experience in Industrial Machinery/ Material Handling Equipment/ Sampling Equipment etc. Last 5 years should be in a leadership position as a Zonal Head/ VP/ GM etc.
3) Soft Skills: Leadership skills to take control of the entire business division and grow it in the long term.
4) General Skills: Multi-tasking business leader with relevant experience in Technical Sales/ Business Development and a thorough grasp across business functions including Design, Manufacturing & Fabrication and Financial Planning & Control
