Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

Qualification :- MBBS + Compulsory CIH(Certified Industrial health) / AFIH(Advanced fellowship in Industrial Health)/AIH(Advanced Industrial Health)

Experience in Chemical/fertilizers company who handle on chemical Hazardous Preventive.
To take care of all OHC routine activities.
Ensure proper cleaning and sanitation of OHC premises.
Ensure good standard of medical care.
Organise or conduct all medical examinations at OHC. (Pre employment, Periodic & Post
employment and any other Medical Examinations)
Providing First Aid treatments to all occupational & medical emergencies.
Managing routine outdoor patient department cases.
Maintain & verify all Medical records & Legal documents at OHC. ( Form 32,33, Biomedical
waste, Emergency cases, MSDS of chemicals etc...)
Maintain stock of required medicines, injections, antidotes, iv fluids & other relevant medical
supplies at OHC.
Referral to outside Hospital in case of an emergency when required.
Liaison with local Hospitals & Specialist doctors for secondary & tertiary care.
Analysis of medical reports for the purpose of pre- employment and periodic medical
examinations.
Visit and follow up with Hospital in case of occupational injuries with communication to AIL
Management
Organise or Conduct various occupational health activities according to company policy & local legislation.
Attending factory inspector or government officer inspection as well customer audit when
required.
Issuing medical fitness certificates according to institutional guidelines.
Participation in mock drills and set up scoring system for assessment or further improvement
of medical services.
Ensure preventive health care approach for all employees and Organisation.
Conduct training of all employees regarding first aid, health awareness, addictions, lifestyle
modifications etc.. on regular basis.
Visit plant premises & conduct walk through surveys for identification of health hazards, do risk evaluation and suggest appropriate measures.
Ensure proper maintenance of Ambulance at OHC. In case of mass casualty coordinate with
Safety department for additional resources.
Ensure proper management & disposal of Bio medical waste, keep documentation according to Bio medical waste guidelines.
