We have urgent opening for medical coders - ambulance speciality in US healthcare domain.
POSITION: Associate/Sr. Associate - Medical Coding
Experience: Minimum 1 yr in ambulance coding
Location: Chennai

• Analyzing the medical record
  
• Assigning the CPT, ICD & Modifiers as required based on the standard operating protocol
  
• Ensure that all codes are current and active
  
• Checking the LCD as per the carrier specifications
  
• Meet daily coding production and quality standards as per SLA
  
• Collaborate with billing department to ensure all bills are satisfied in a timely manner
  
• Maintaining patient confidentiality and information security
  

Job specifications:

• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology & medical terminologies required.
  
• Extensive knowledge of official coding conventions and rules established by the
  
• American Medical Association (AMA), and the Center for Medicare and Medicaid
  
• Services (CMS) for assignment of diagnostic and procedural codes
  
• Possess Knowledge in MIPS and HCPCS coding
  
• Average knowledge in MS excel
