Job Description
Key ResponsibilitiesTo accept time window provided by requester of scueduled migrations
Validation of MAC (Move, Add & Change) Request by performing pre-checks
Scope of Work, SRF2, LLD, ensure availability of required resources (human,
hardware, or software/configurations)Chair tele conference call.
Responsible for all layer 2 and layer 3 changes and make sure the configuration part implemented by configuration expert team.
Accountable for the On-Time and error-free implementation of customer projects on Networks. Keeping end to end ownership of customer change and coordinates with all the internal SITA teams/vendors and customer for the successful implementation as per SoW.
Technically check the existing customer network through pre-checks and after implementing the change, check the new changes on customer network through post checks.
Define and ensure that Service Acceptance Tests (SAT) are carried out
successfully for migration and new implementation.
Support the Project manager and/or Customer Service manager for the
coordination of the final delivery/migration.
Making consensus among the stakeholders for accepting the change scope.
Communicate Customer Change Guideline (CCG) and success advisory
Record all information in tools after success advisory & Responsible to share lesson learned document for assigned migration
Education and Professional Qualifications
University degree or equivalent.
Desired Technical Certification Cisco, Juniper professionals (CCNA/CCNA or CCIP).
Strong MS Office skills - know how to structure and present reports in excel and PPT
Excellent communication skills
Experience
5 to 7 years of Experience in physical layer/Frame-relay/ATM/IP technologies
Intermediate Networking skills
ROLE PROFILE
Technical Skills
2-3 years of Experience on Cisco Switches family knowledge: Cat2900 series, Cat3550/3650 series, Cat3750, Cat4500, Cat6500 series, Nexus switches,Wireless LAN.
Area of exposer SDWAN( Cisco/Viptela), MPLS, IPVPN (CISCO technologies),
Network Boost, Reverbed, Voice - IP Telephony & security.
Knowledge on: SDWAN technology, Routing protocols such as OSPF, EIGRP,
BGP4, RIPV2, MPLS, MPLS VPN, VoIP, ISDN DDR, Dial Solutions (PPP/L2F),
Switching, DSL, IPSEC, GRE, Tunnelling. TCP/IP, Frame Relay, ATM, MEA, IEL.
Change management/ Project Management knowledge (ITIL knowledge is a plus) Be autonomous and agile in changing environments, with sense of initiative and proactivity. We are in a constantly changing business environment : adaptation and initiative taking are critical success factors.
