Job Description
Expert System engineer responsible for design, development, troubleshooting and debugging.
This is for product development in File system technologies that form the core solutions for 3PAR File Persona. This is an opportunity to be part of R&D team of HPE and work in niche areas of storage solutions.
Experience in C and Linux Kernel programming.
Storage domain expertise with NAS, File systems and distributed computing.
System software development experience in storage domain.
Good to have work experience in performance engineering and optimizations.
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
Proposes the design choices and finalizes the design for new feature development by working with stake holders.
Designing software systems running on multiple platform types.
Understanding of Software testing methodology, debugging and testing scripts and tools.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to effectively communicate design ideas and approaches.
Collaborates and communicates with internal and outsourced development partners regarding software systems design, project progress and issue resolution.
Technical leadership to provide guidance and enable junior team members in analysis, design and debugging.
Education and Experience Required: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent with 10-16 years of experience
