About the Role

The purpose of this role is to provide businessspecific risk identification and increase the quality of the BC plans as there is directly accountable for the quality of the plans, increase the response times of all updates and changes in the ORS tool as these are dedicated resources and will become SME s of data input and quality.

Responsibilities: BRC ( Business Resiliency Coordinator)

  • Update business continuity plans
  • Create new business continuity plans
  • Complete annual exercise and maintenance items depending on plan type (Essential vs Deferrable)
  • Business Impact Analysis (BIA)
  • Risk Assessment (RA)
  • Recovery Simulation
  • Plan Walkthrough
  • Record Verification
  • Plan Distribution
  • RTO/RPO Review
  • Conduct Everbridge Testing (automated call tree)
  • Respond to EBCP Plan Profiles
  • Perform RRP updates within ORS
  • Complete certification requirements
  • Participate in training and awareness for Change Control

Relevant Experience
5 years of experience in one or a combination of the following: additional compliance, additional operational risk management, IT systems security, business process management or financial services industry experience; or a graduate degree or higher in business or a related field

Essential Qualifications

  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy Business Continuity and Operational Risk Knowledge.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work effectively, as well as independently, in a team environment
  • Ability to develop partnerships with other business and functional areas
  • Effective communication with Business Groups (i.e. excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills)
  • Willingness to work outside of normal hours as and when required as incident will require immediate attention
  • Work typically involves close visual acuity on a computer to access, read and analyze the data in order to record data validation and/or establish credible challenge
