Job Description
Inviting applications for the role of Senior Backend Developer In this role, we are looking for a Senior back-end Developer who will work with team members to troubleshoot and improve current back-end applications and processes. The Back-end Developer will use his or her understanding of programming languages and tools to analyse current codes and industry developments, formulate more efficient processes, tackle problems, and build a more seamless experience for users. Should have excellent communication, and project management skills. In addition, should be passionate about building a better, more efficient program and crafting a better end-user experience. Should be knowledgeable, collaborative, and motivated.
Responsibilities
In this role, you would be responsible for
- Collaborating with the Business users and other team members to establish objectives and craft more functional, cohesive codes to improve the user experience.
- Strong programming background with Java 8+ and J2EE technologies, Multithreading, collections framework, Spring and Spring boot
- Experience in designing and implementing cloud-based application architectures, micro services and distributed systems.
- Experience of Microservices that are based on Spring Boot, Spring Cloud and Spring data flow.
- Experience with Cloud or a similar service e.g. AWS, Azure cloud etc.
- Implementing experience with primary AWS services like - (S3 EC2, VPC, Gateway etc).
- Experience of web-services (SOAP and RESTful).
- Experience in designing and implementing Integration System that can consume input and generate output in various forms such as files, queues, sql connections etc.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platform and container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience on data Streaming, messaging using Kafka, IBM MQs, JMS etc. within event driven systems.
- Experience with Database that includes Oracle and MySQL.
- Ability to execute and optimized complex database queries.
- Exposure of UX based environments, shell scripting.
- Well versed with agile development environment and test-driven development mentality; Hands on experience with tools like - Junit, TestNG, Mockito etc. ).
- Experience with DevOps culture and setting up automation pipelines; this include tools of continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) such as Jenkins, Git, Maven etc.
- Good Understanding to AutoSys.
- Develop solution in highly demanding environment and provide hands on guidance to other team members.
- Comfortable multi-tasking and working as part of a global team, as well as working independently and taking ownership
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Qualifications we seek in you
- Minimum Education: B.A. or B.S. degree in related subject area or equivalent experience
- Experience detailing technical requirements.
- Proficient at multitasking and proactive in work responsibilities.
Preferred qualifications
- Strong core Java background with experience working in Collections, Multithreading, Data Structure & Algorithm.
- Good knowledge of Java/J2EE web application technology stack (Core Java, Spring core, Spring MVC, Hibernate, REST, JSON, XML)
- Solid understanding on Spring framework and Spring Batch
- Experience working on developing Spring boot microservices
- Experience working on custom integration frameworks through REST Api
- Creating custom, general use modules and components that extend the elements and modules of core Angular
- Ability to integrate existing APIs (REST/SOAP)
- Working Knowledge of relational databases and SQL queries (Oracle, Sybase etc.)
- Scripting languages such as Shell script and Python.
- Strong knowledge of Data warehouse and Relational Model.
- Knowledge of data migration and ETL activities.
- Experienced with informatica.
- Writing complex SQL queries in Oracle and MySql, Performance tuning
- Prior experience in Investment Banking projects
