COMPANYs requirements
b) Must have more than 12 years of experience in Electrical Maintenance and Major
Turnarounds in the Oil and Gas or Power Generation industries, with a minimum of 5 years
as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer.
c) Educational qualifications: Engineering Degree or Diploma in a relevant discipline nb. May be
required to undertake Competency Based test witnessed by COMPANY Discipline engineer.
d) Must have a valid CompEx certification to work on Ex Certified Equipment
e) Must have a fairly good knowledge & understanding of various process equipment.
f) Must be able to read, write and speak English to IELTS level 7 equivalent.
g) Must be capable of executing QA/QC / HSE compliance audits on site, procedures and HSE
Plan.
h) Must be familiar with ITPs creation for each type of task to be performed during the TA.
i) Must be able to work with computers utilizing Microsoft Windows and Office suite of
packages.
j) Must have working knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
k) Shall meet all requirements for Electrical Engineer
l) Must have experience in and be able to carry out routine and non-routine maintenance on all
types of Electrical equipment.
m) Must be able to interpret job requests, plan and allocate works accordingly.
n) Must have experience in and be able to supervise more than 5 supervisors, 20 technicians.
o) Must be able to provide feedback of ongoing and completed work to Shell Asset engineering
p) Must be able to use and demonstrate all test equipment as required to carry out maintenance
and fault finding works.
q) Can read and understand electrical drawings and diagrams, cause and effect matrices and
control and safeguarding narratives.

r) Must have experience in and be proficient in maintenance of Certified Hazardous area
equipment.
Must have experience on electrical protection system.
t) Must be able to demonstrate an awareness of HSE and should be a good communicator with
his peers.
u) Must be able to plan associated activities such as scaffolding and excavation works and fully
familiar with various types of permit to work.
v) Responsible for delivery of safety talks and safety walks.
w) Responsible for applying risk assessments as required for maintenance work.
x) Responsible for coordinating materials and spares with the COMPANY.
y) Responsible to coordinate with other disciplines and interfaces.
z) MUST have good knowledge on international electrical standards (IEC).
INSTRUMENTATION ENGINEER KEY PERSONNEL
aa) INSTRUMENTATION ENGINEER must be a qualified by a third party agent to ensure.
