Position Summary
The Senior Quality Assurance Engineer performs various testing and engineering activities to verify, validate support and document the functionalities of all Atlas software. This person is responsible for developing and implementing functional test plans and test cases, as well as perform various testing activities to verify, validate and document the performance of Atlas software. This persons focus is to ensure that only high-quality products are delivered to clients. This person participants in management, development, and design meetings as appropriate to ensure quality objectives are addressed at appropriate phases with the software development lifecycle.

Educational Requirements
Bachelor's degree or appropriate combination of education and experience. Related graduate degree preferred (Master's).
Technical Requirements
Knowledge of Quality Assurance methodologies with 6 to 8 years of relevant experience.
Experience in creating and executing functional test plans and test cases, including experience with both manual and automated testing.
Proven ability to successfully test in client server environment and web applications.
Experience in Selenium key word driven framework and JMeter or similar tools.
Microsoft Windows Operating Systems.
Knowledge of general relational database concepts.
Knowledge of Cache RDBMS is a plus.
Knowledge on Single Sign On(SSO).
Job Responsibilities
Develop Quality Assurance tools and scripts to thoroughly test the business applications based on the clients requirements and the development release documents.
Work closely with software developers to collect information and use that information as a basis to make a decision on ensuring the software meets quality assurance standards.
Analyze data tested and appropriately evaluate risk of release.
Document and perform functional, regression, and integration testing for all releases.
Maintain project timelines, including assigning resources to meet deadlines for all assigned projects.
Attend, participate and lead scheduled and ad-hoc meetings of the QA and Development Departments.
Break down requirements documentation into basic components for effective testing.
Engineer test data to be used in the various testing types throughout the software development lifecycle: configuration testing, installation testing, performance testing, fail over testing, stress testing, and volume testing.
Review release documentation to ensure client standards and business requirements are followed.
Work closely with the project management team to design tests that will ensure the releases goals are met prior to final deployment.
Work closely with all other technical teams to ensure effective cross-team coordination during the testing process.
Identify and document software discrepancies.
Identifies risk to the organization and communicates that risk to management, and protect confidential information, including, but not limited to, business trade secrets and protected health information.
Identify, log, report and tracks bugs found in the release. Prepare clear and concise written reports on bugs/defects found during QA process.
Communicate test plan status to the QA Manager to promote effective critical path decisions for the release.
Participate in all phases of test execution and documentation including functional, regression, performance, usability, integration and acceptance testing.
Develop and refine full functional test plans and test case templates, test strategy and estimate source requirements. train, mentor and serve as a resource to other members of the team and cross-departmental colleagues Ensure internal documentation is complete, accurate and up-to-date.
