o Support JIRA project administration by setting up effective workflows, complex projects, permission schemes, custom forms, fields, dashboards, etc.
o Perform 3rd party plugins POCs and evaluations.
o Develop custom groovy scripts, listeners, plugins, client integrations, and client extending Jira.
o Collaborate with internal customers to develop requirements and design of workflows.
o Provide SME consultation for client integrations.
o Extend monitoring and alerting capabilities.
o Test and Perform Upgrades to Jira and it's infrastructure.
o Provide SME support to our many thousands of users.
o Support Rally to Jira Migrations efforts.
o Triage and troubleshoot Jira incidents/issues and work closely with Vendors to patch Jira and it's plugins.
o Tune and Optimize the end-user experience, Schema configurations, and underlying performance of Jira.
o Create Jenkins jobs to automate Jira DevOps tasks.
o Assist in migrating Jira to a clustered (DataCenter) deployment.
o Collaborate with other Enterprise Tools team members on Developing/supporting other mission critical tools that either directly or indirectly support Jira.
Requirements
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Jira administration and deployment.
Basic Linux administration.
Tomcat Catalina configuration.
Experience in Java, Javascript, Groovy, Node.js, bash, python, perl, REST.
Agile scrum/kanban.
Experience with GCP cloud app deployment.
Experience with deployment and orchestration technologies such as Docker.
Experience with debugging UI issues with browser developer tools.
Planning and executing on complex long running initiatives.
DevOps experience with supporting mission critical applications.
Oracle, MySQL, Mongo, Hadoop usage.
Analytic and reporting experience.
