Application Architect: Microsoft .NET
Your Role and Responsibilities
Within the IBM Global Business Services, we have a team focused on
building differentiating assets and accelerators for hybrid cloud
modernization and are seeking a Senior Application Modernization
Architect to join our Global CTO team for Cloud Application Services. In
this role, you will be leading a talented asset development squad and
advising clients in adopting IBMs hybrid cloud strategy.
Responsibilities:
Hands-on experience planning and performing large scale SharePoint on-
premise migrations to SharePoint Online
Expertise on the Microsoft development platform for SharePoint 2013 /
2016 / SharePoint Online etc. including SharePoint framework (SPFx) /
Add-In model etc.
Sound understanding of packaging, build and release management
processes and solutions around
SharePoint including solutions such as TFS, VSTS and PowerShell.
Must be able to recommend best -in-class solution architecture
identifying functional as well non-functional parameters.
Must have hands-on experience working with Power Automate &&
PowerApps, Microsoft Teams.
Prior experience in leading the technical assessment, help creating the
migration plan, remediate issues etc. .
Experience in developing plan && strategy for data migrations, abilityto
identify potential challenges
Must be able tomigrateand plan workarounds,provide SharePoint
migration technical guidance to the team
Must have strong knowledge of SharePoint 2013 and 2016

15 years of overall experience in Architecting .NET solutions, C#
Knowledge of an object programming and project patterns. C#
proficiency and server side development experience with ASP.NET Web
API.
Experience in creating software using back-end technologies in Microsoft
area: C#, .NET, WCF, Entity Framework with the knowledge of SQL
Server database,
Architecting and developing cloud-native applications including
development of APIs and microservices on containers
5 years of experience in a consulting organization including consultative-
based selling of technology transformation project, documenting and
presenting recommendations to clients and/or stakeholders
5 years of experience in data migration and transformation (RDBMS,
NoSQL etc.)
Net Core with Azure Architect: Hands on experience in .Net Core MVC
Web app/Web API with Entity Framework ORM (Mandatory skill) Hands
on experience in .Net Framework Webforms /WCF /MVC Hands on
experience in MSSQL/MySQL Database Experience on cloud migration
(good to have)
Hands on experience in Cloud Native Development with AWS (Good to
have)
