Inviting applications for the role of PL SQL
In this role, we are inviting enthusiasts with experience in report designing, architecting, development and deployment with strong SQL experience. You should be proficient working with SQL & other RDMS databases & have a good understanding of BI best practices.
You should have strong SQL skills with experienced in RDMS such as MS SQL Server, Oracle etc.
Having strong communication skills (verbal/written) will be essential to deliver the technical insights and interpret the data reports to the clients.
You should have knowledge and experience in prototyping, designing, and requirement analysis & experience in data integration through extracting, transforming and loading (ETL) data from various sources.
We are looking for a strong analytical and logical mindset and attention to detail & your ability to work in a team.
Responsibilities- Design, build and deploy BI solutions.
- Manage and improve existing BI systems
- Receive inputs from Chubb onshore team and conceptualize, transform requirements into reporting solutions.
- Both offshore and onshore team collaborate for reporting solutions.
- Support multi location ad-hoc reporting requests.
- Develop, implement and optimize stored procedures and functions using SQL
- Review and interpret ongoing business report requirements & research required data
- Build appropriate and useful reporting deliverables
- Analyze existing SQL queries for performance improvements & suggest new queries
- Develop procedures and scripts for data migration & provide timely scheduled management reporting
- Able to comprehend and translate complex and advanced functional, technical and business requirements into executable architectural designs.
- Importing and transforming data for Business Intelligence.
- Require to perform advance level calculations on the data set.
- Create tools to store data (e.g. OLAP cubes)
- Knowledge of VB, SSRS & MS Access would be an added advantage
- Conduct unit testing and troubleshooting.
- Develop and execute database queries and conduct analyses
- Develop and update technical documentation
- BCA/B Tech or MCA
- Meaningful work experience in BI & DW domain.
- Experience in Insurance Domain (P&C is preferred)
- Relevant work experience with SQL & other reporting databases
- Very good written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in ETL tools/technologies
- Good analytical and problem solving skills and ability to handle client discussions
