Inviting applications for the role of Lead Consultant Business Analyst
We are looking for an experienced professional with Technical Business Analysis skills in Capital Market/ Financial Services domain, preferably worked in both Agile & Waterfall methodology environments. We are looking for someone who can adapt in a fast-moving environment, can learn quickly and is excellent in verbal as well as written business communications.
In this role, candidate is expected to undertake Tech Business Analyst / Business System Analyst responsibilities within ongoing projects being delivered to Genpact clients. The candidate should have significant Technical + CM/FS Domain & BA knowledge to conduct detailed business systems analysis.
Responsibilities
- Act as the liaison between business and systems analysts, developers and Scrum team /project management groups and gather business requirements needed for system modifications, enhancement and implementations.
- To create Wireframes and review test strategy document & SIT/UAT Test Plans as required.
- Designing Data flow diagram, Business process diagrams, E2E workflows as required for End to End development, delivery and rollout implementation
- Create/Review Technical user specifications for IT projects and works with developers and administrators on technical specifications
- Own and Drive all activities essential for system business analysis and delivery of entire engagement and impactful recommendation
- Engage with multiple stakeholders including technology resource to explain, clarify and elaborate requirements to enable translation into functional specifications.
- Contribute as an effective communicator & thought leader with strong analytical, problem solving & organizational abilities to manage multiple priorities
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum qualifications
- Bachelor s Degree educated or equivalent
- MBA or CFA is an advantage
Preferred qualifications
- Candidate MUST have background of Capital Market/Financial services having knowledge of various Asset classes/ Products like Equity, Fixed income, Derivatives etc.
- Proficient in creating requirement documentation like BRD, FRD, FSD, GAP Analysis, Use Case, Release Notes etc.
- Excellent Agile Skills i.e. able to manage Scrum call (if required), Sprint planning, User stories, Epic, review UAT test cases etc. i.e. manage E2E delivery
- Candidate MUST have worked at least one of below CM processes
- Front Office
- Middle Office
- Back office (Clearing & Settlements)
- Regulatory Reporting (CFTC, Dodd Frank, CAT, MIFID 2, EMIR, BCBS 239 etc.)
- Client Lifecycle Management (Client onboarding)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools like Excel, PowerPoint and Visio and similar Business Analysis tools to develop use case diagrams.
- Candidate MUST have worked at least one of below tools
- JIRA
- SQL Server management Studio or Any SQL DB tool
- Rally (Optional)
- Confluence (Optional)
- HPQC (Optional)
- Reporting Tools (Power BI, Tableau etc.)
- Splunk
