Inviting applications for the role of Lead Consultant Business Analyst
Business Analyst will play a crucial role in the regulatory compliancy, responsible for the end to end rating process. In close alignment with relevant partners you deliver the business requirements, design the process and data flow, resolve business constraints and slice the deliverables in such a way that we can bring value to our colleagues faster. While doing so you ensure the solutions we deliver are compliant with internal policies and external regulations. You recognize that our clients (front office, risk managers, modelling, auditors) are seeking a frictionless and data driven journey.
Responsibilities
- Ensure business requirements are translated to the backlog by user stories (what is needed, for whom and why) and use of scrum teams (how) to realize targets and mission the best way possible
- Drive solution designs and translate these into clear user stories in the backlog.
- Ensure requirements are dealt with in the relevant backlogs
- Own the product backlog and ensure it is visible, transparent, clear and aligned.
- Manage partners by proactively communicating on progress, impediments and priorities
- Define a roadmap in alignment with key partners across the end to end chain.
- Provide guidance on the operational necessities and appropriate direction on prioritization to the relevant teams
- Work closely with Product Owners in the Tribe Data Management Operations and other business lines to achieve the best overall results
- Drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum qualifications
- Bachelor s Degree in Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, Information Technology or a related field
Preferred qualifications
- Self-starter with a good ability to work in a Global team virtually across various locations
- Takes ownership and accountability
- Good knowledge of the agile way of working, but also has a pragmatic approach how to combine this in areas where close collaboration and transparency is a must
- Design Thinking, which enables big-picture view into details required for in-depth analysis resulting to good decision making
- Ability to ask the right questions which aids in identifying the core problem
- Results oriented with an ability to find ways of solving or pre-empting problems
- Has the resilience and grit in handling escalations and work under pressure of different partners and management
- Excellent knowledge in process design with a data driven mindset
- Hands-on mentality in a data-driven setting
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in banking and specifically in positions involved in the risk rating process (risk manager, lending front office) is a pro.
- Sound understanding financial services processes
- Passion for data (management) and processes
- Strong analytical skills and get energy of translating complex requirements into a clear vision and structure, always looking for ways to improve the status quo
- Able to drive solution designs and translate requirements into solutions and user stories
- Ambitious, eager to learn, pragmatic and problem-solving.
- Take responsibility, steer strategy and execution based on facts and data,
- Managerial courage to ask questions and make decisions
- Strong influencing skills, are result-driven with persistence and a can-do mentality
- Proven track record working as CJE/Product owner in complex projects in an international environment.
- Focus on delivery through collaboration, have the ability to bring people together to work towards the same purpose.
- Outstanding social and communication skills (ability to communicate clearly, effectively
and consistently in different contexts and cultures).
- Excellent in slicing projects to MVP s that create continuous impact in a complex
environment.
- Comfortable working in in an international context
- Concrete experience with working in a data and IT driven organization
- Strong relationship management experience, with prior experience working collaboratively in a cross functional team
- Easy to work with, excellent organization sensitivity skills, and have a drive to work in a
bank-wide, international environment.
- Giving and receiving constructive feedback as an important condition for working well
together
- Skilled in communicating complex topics and solutions and open to ideas from others.
- Experienced to communicate by means of Microsoft Office 365 including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
