Designation : Manager Process /Project
Location: Jhagadia (Gujrat )
1. Qualification
- BE in chemical engineering (4 year degree. No diploma + engineering).
- At least 12 years relevant in process, engineering and projects experience of Chemicals/ Agro-Chemical / Speciality chemicals / API industries
- Requisite Skills & Knowledge for this Position
- Excellent knowledge of basic engineering and detailed engineering functions.Like Developing operation logic Hydraulic calculations, Utility requirements, Design of heat transfer & mass transfer equipments, Equipments sizing / specifying
- Operation and commissioning of plants on automation environment will be an added advantage.
- Experience in process simulation software such as CHEMCAD, preferred.
- Good communication skills-written and verbal English & Gujarati
- Good knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 systems
- Good knowledge of EHS
- Job Role and Responsibilities
- Managing and maintaining an updated list of all the projects and other strategic initiatives under manufacturing function.
- Along with project management function drawing out a detailed plan for all the projects related to capacity expansion, new products, modernization, infrastructure and other projects under manufacturing.
- Project Management Responsible for monitoring & controlling of project timelines and cost and to communicate across the project organization to ensure that all are as per plan.
- MIS and organizing timely reviews on key performance matrix along with all stake holders with the help of latest project planning and monitoring tools. Collecting and analyzing data & information from all the related functions, analyzing, identifying the gaps / potential deviations and timely communicating the concerned Functional Heads/responsible people.
- Looking after process calculation like Mass balance, Energy balance and Reaction Engineering.
- Preparation of P&ID and PFD Preparation of Plant layout in Auto cad Carrying out modification of the plant as per as process requirement
- Estimation of relief loads / safety valve sizing
- HAZOP/ HAZARD analysis
- Responsible for checking all type of project related invoices of Engineering work. Preparation of technical evaluation / bid of equipmentsProject scheduling on MS Office/Primavera
- Project cost / schedule estimation
- Co-coordinating with other functions for understanding of the project objectives & effective execution.
- Co-ordinating meetings between project / manufacturing functions with external agencies, technology providers, consultants and vendors.
- Participation and co-ordination of CAPEX budget preparation and reviews.
- Responsible for managing all documentation related projects
