Job Description

Experience and Expertise:

Expertise in GUI and portal testing

Tools: should have experience in working on tools like JMETER, SOAP UI

Should be familiar with telecom terminology and domain (GSM, GPRS, LTE, IoT)

Must have done test automation for Telecom products

Should have been involved in detailed test plan creation from requirement document

Should have experience in executing feature test plan, feature testing, load and performance testing

Should be familiar with defect tracking system (Bugzilla, Jeera, QC)

Work Experience:

7+ years of relevant software testing

Key responsibilities:

Tests software releases during the product development.
Reports test results and enter problems and issues into the bug database. Monitors and updates bug reports as needed including bug report closure.
Configures necessary hardware and operating environments as needed to complete assigned testing.
Provides technical expertise on specific products, operating systems and specialized environments.
Writes or assists in the development of test plans and test procedures.
Completes assigned test-related tasks.
Manages the defect database under the guidance of Manager.
Assists in the automation of relevant test procedures.
Assists in review of test processes as they are developed
Understand given assignment clearly
Provide input on the time requirement to deliver the assignment
Develop and test a deliverable thoroughly
