Job Description

A Site Manager should have sound knowledge in Piping Industries like Power Plant / Oil & Gas.

A Site Manager is an important part of any construction process and to be successful in this role a range of skills are required, including:

Commercial awareness

Problem solving

Strong communication skills

High attention to detail

Being able to works as part of a team

Strong IT skills

Highly organized

Knowledge of construction processes

Knowledge of health and safety procedures

Strong written skills. Etc..

Site Managers are also responsible for taking on staff and preparing the site, including installing temporary offices and facilities before construction work starts.

With larger projects, a Site Manager may be responsible for part of it and would usually report into a Project Manager.

During the construction of a project, a Site Managers role will be to monitor the progress and report to the client or clients representatives, ensure the safety of the team and site workers and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
