Job Description

The candidate should be familiar with the following concepts :
1. Acids & bases
2. Diazotisation & coupling reaction.
3. Fidel crafts reactions, Aldol condensation, Knoevenagel condensation reaction.
4. Coordinate chemistry involving indentification of oxidation states of metal complexes.
5. Concept of identification of Electrophiles & nucleophiles in a Chemical reaction.
6. Stoichiometry
The job will involve :
1. Performing experiments in lab.
2. Maintaining strict documentation.
3. Problem solving in chemistry.
4. Analytical testing of finished product & intermediates.
5. Reporting data and making presentations as when required.
6. Developing reaction methodology, and synthetic methods for new molecules.
7. Characterisation of samples using instrumental analytical methods.
