Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
Experience: 8 -12 Years
Mandatory Skill Set: Experience in Cards Payments (E-Comm Payment Gateway and POS)
Job Specific Responsibilities :
- The primary role of the senior business analyst is to effectively support the business and project teams on requirements gathering, designing, analysing and documentation writing that contributes to the development of optimal solutions. Candidate should be able mentor a set of business analysts, review and enhance the deliverable offered by them.
- Working with our product or client organizations to ensure we retain core integrity in the solution, and that the enhancements, applications and localizations that you design fit with our overall strategy.
Providing quality deliverables across the following key work elements:
Business Requirements elicitation, publish cross functional business flow diagrams, detailing of Functional and Non Functional requirements and publishing Requirement Traceability Matrix.

Essential Competencies:
- Experience in Payment Card Industry/ECOM is must
- Proactive approach to look holistically across technology, people, process and current functionality when defining requirement
- Ability to understand implicit and explicit requirements
- Stakeholder Management Expectation Management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Be fluent in English, both written and spoken
- Ability to think strategically and execute successfully
- Dedicated team player who is both self-directed & willing to multi
task on various projects - Have the following technical skills: Proficient Microsoft Office User
- (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) Proficient in the use of Confluence and Jira Agile delivery tools Proficient in the use of Microsoft Vision
- Have managed a team of 3+ Business Analysts
Desired Competencies:
- Responsible primarily for Merchant Acquiring Business (POS and ECOM)
- Understand Business Requirements from the Customers and create a Business Requirement Solution Document (BRSD) covering product solution that will be offered to the customer
- Requirement elicitation phase should encompass
- Understand the Business Requirements (implicit and explicit)
- Scope Planning
- Scope Definition
- Detail Scope and assumptions as well as constraints
- Detail out of scope requirements
- Release the scope document with stakeholders
- Review and Sign-off from stakeholders
- Product Enhancements
- Identify product enhancements opportunities
- Drive the entire product enhancement project in line with Business
- Managing Product Demos & Presentation to the customers
- Providing inputs to Pre-Sales group for sending proposals, RFP responses
- Develop standard offerings considering long term view and competition
- Assess product feature gaps against competitive offerings and client expectations
- Closely working with engineering team for the required inputs on Proposed Solution, efforts etc.
Preferred Qualifications
- 8 1- 12 years of related experience.
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience and/or Certifications.
- Several years of practical experience in client facing business analysis and works independently in complex situations and tasks.
