Inviting applications for the role of Consultant Production Support Unix
In this role, you will be responsible for providing L1/L2 application support. You will have an opportunity to work with business people to have a real time understanding of business problem and, craft the solution which really fits into needs.
Responsibilities- Monitor production jobs for successful execution
- Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support, escalate production issues to appropriate team for root cause analysis and resolution
- Work with external data providers and downstream application/users to address data delay/issues.
- Work with Business Solutions and Technology teams on production data issues
Minimum qualifications
- BE/B Tech/M Tech/MCA/BCA
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Primary : Unix, Shell scripting and Application production support experience (L1/L2 support)
- Ability to learn and monitor on different platforms
- Ability to write queries and debug stored procedures on Oracle ( Must have )
- Basic knowledge on Unix & Shell Scripting ( Must have )
- Exposure on Scripting automation / Batch optimization using Shells
- Basic knowledge on Middleware technologies and Scheduling tools (Tibco, FTB, Autosys etc) would be an advantage
- Awareness of Java Errors & Exceptions will be an advantage
- Basic Awareness of CD/CI concepts, Devops will be an advantage
- Understanding of financial industry concepts is a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Flexible to provide on-call support when required
- Flexible to work in shifts including night shift
