Inviting applications for the role of Consultant-Production Support with Unix
In this role, you will be responsible for resolving the incidents raised by users and support Java applications in production environment. lso responsible to do analysis on Application Outages, alerts and Job failures and for documenting the RCA. To support Engineer using Agile Methodology and use cases, to transform them into an effective and strategic solution. Work with business people to have a real time understanding of business problem and, craft the solution which really fits into needs.
Responsibilities- Manage and resolve production incidents. Covers system outages, job failures, alerts and end user support. Users who contact directly regarding issues.
- Resolve Java application support issues
- For application issues, need to debug the logs and find out the issue in applications deployed in UNIX servers
- Execute and manage day-to-day operations via ticketing tools
- Problem Management: Track, record, and process all recurring tickets against the application via the tools.
- Quick learner and self-starter who requires minimal supervision to excel in a dynamic environment
- Ability to acquire business domain knowledge quickly and effectively to take a role of subject matter expert for multiple applications Deep understanding of the support process
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and work against deadlinespriorities
Minimum qualifications
- BE/B Tech/ MCA
- Primary skill: Production support, Unix, SQL and Java basics
- Fundamental knowledge of networking concepts (proxy, tunneling, reverse proxy, WinScp, putty.etc)
- Knowledge on Application servers WebLogic and JBoss
- Willing to work in production support project
- Good team player & can work as individual contributor
- Work closely with application teams to understand their needs to improve our systems
- Craft and discuss the requirements effectively with a technical team of developers
- Good communication skills
- Flexible for 24*7 project and night shifts
