Designation: Ruby on Rails Developer

Notice Period: Immediate to 30 Days

Location: Ahmedabad

IMMEDIATE JOINER WILL GET A JOINING BONUS.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Ruby code.
• Writing code business logic, request handling, multi-platform presentation, API integrations anything necessary to turn our product dreams into realities.
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
• Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic
• Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle.
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems.
• Follow best practices (test-driven development, continuous integration, SCRUM, refactoring, and code standards).
• Maintaining and enhancing existing features. Creating back-end components.
• Integrating user-facing elements. Designing user interactions on web pages.
• Ensuring cross-platform optimization for mobile devices. Ensuring performance of applications.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• 3 to 7 years of experience in web-based software development.
• Experience working with Ruby on Rails(RoR)and ability to write clean Ruby codes.
• Proficiency with code versioning tools like Bit bucket, GitHub.
• Familiarity with MVC, REST. Good understanding of front-end technologies including HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS3, and Bootstrap framework.
• Familiarity with database technology and SQL programming.
• Experience working with Agile methodologies and tools.
• Deep expertise in object-oriented development, including strong design patterns knowledge. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good understanding of the syntax of Ruby and its nuances.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming.
• Familiar with Agile Development Methodology, such as Scrum.
