Job Description
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the design and development of cybersecurity and IT risk management strategies, policies, procedures, SLAs, guidelines and plans to ensure that JIGPC assets are protected and comply with local laws and regulations.
- Establish and maintain customized cybersecurity controls to provide cost effective protection, confidentiality and integrity of information.
- Develop Information Systems Risk Management Methodology.
- Develop and execute security gap analysis, implement and maintain required policies and controls to overcome these identified gaps across JIGPC and ensure it is aligned with other department strategies and plans (i.e. IT, EHSS&Q, Internal Audit).
- Monitor cybersecurity policies and controls adherence and report any violations.
- Act as the primary change lead to facilitate improvements in JIGPC security culture and business relationships to improve the security of JIGPC.
- Participate in disaster recovery program to protect the JIGPC information and systems.
- Ensure ongoing risk assessment of external and internal cybersecurity threats to ensure risk mitigation and security practices and controls remain appropriate.
- Perform and coordinate penetration testing exercises when required.
- Ensure JIGPC practices remain observant to all information Security relevant laws, government regulations, and client contracts.
- Stays informed of industry and regulatory changes impacting information security compliance and provide updates to Management.
- Lead the process of certification / re-certification activities required for continued compliance.
SKILLS
- Relevant certifications, such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) and/or Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC).
