Job Description
Job Title: System Admin (L1/L2)
We are looking for a System Administrator to maintain, upgrade and manage our software, hardware, and networks. Resourcefulness is a necessary skill in this role. Candidate should be able to diagnose and resolve problems quickly. have the patience to communicate with a variety of interdisciplinary teams and users. goal will be to ensure that our technology infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently.
Roles & Technical Skills:
- Expertise hands in troubleshooting of Computer hardware related problems such like UPS, SMPS, Printer and Drivers.
- Managing and Maintaining the Servers, PCs, Routers and Switches.
- Ample knowledge in Windows 98 Me Xp 2000 2003 Server2008 ServerLinux Server
- Configuring, Managing and Maintaining Networking Equipment's.
- Network processing, centralized and distributive network connection
- Installing, configuring and administering network technologies
- Installed and configured workstations for IP/IPX based LAN
- Installed and configured DHCP Client/Server
- Maintenance of MS Exchange Environment
- Configuring and troubleshooting Microsoft Outlook and Outlook express.
- Provision of Internet Access and Management of Web marshal
- Analysis of Security Alerts and Implementation of Recommendations Third-party middleware and database software
- Implementing and troubleshooting Cluster and SAN
- Providing Training for Cisco Certifications such as CCNA, MCP, MCSA and ADCHN.
- Installing configuring administrating software applications.
- Providing training about Microsoft Server 2003 and Client OS Windows XP.
- Providing Training of Basic Skills of Linux.
- Linux Shell Scripting
- Well understanding of Bridging and switching concepts and LAN technologies
- Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms
- Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude
Academic qualifications & Work Experience: 0-4 years experience in System Admin roles
