*Lead Consultant, Automation Testing QA

Inviting applications for the role of Consultant Automation QA
Responsibilities
- Build tools, frameworks, and other infrastructure needed to support automation.
- Design, code, and implement automation framework & tests in physical and virtual environments
- Proactively solve technical problems and suggest process improvements.
- Writing automation tests using BDD methodology and working closely with the development team
- Cooperate with business analysts, project managers, other developers and testers
- Providing developer support through application lifecycle and across environments
- Set up continuous integration testing and update related documentations
- Develop test strategy, detailed working test plan
- Provide test case coverage and defect metrics to substantiate release decisions.
- Assist in ongoing process improvement efforts related to Quality.
- Proactively build test cases for defects and integrate them into the automation suite.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications
- Bachelors degree in technology
- Experience in Test Automation technologies such as Selenium, Cucumber etc.
- Experience in CI/CD and BDD
- Experience is building a Testing Framework from scratch
- Design and execution experience with Automated Test Suites for Regression as well as Functional Testing (within release cycles)
- Hands on experience on Database; Skilled at understanding & writing SQL statements
Preferred Qualifications/ skills
- Good understanding of Credit Risk domain
- Experience in working on Agile delivery (Scrum / Kanban) and using tools like JIRA, Service Now
- Good understanding of the Dev/ops tools and strategy required for automation across Dev/QA/Deployment teams NOLIO, Sonar, TeamCity / Jenkins
