Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
We are looking for Senior Developer. This person should have an extensive hands-on experience
in using .NET Framework, ASP.NET Core, MVC, and various JavaScript Frameworks. Ability to
support, communicate and collaborate with global IT and Business teams.
Role and Responsibilities
1. We are looking for a strong developer who is innovative, confident & proactive in delivering
highest standard possible across the delivery process.
2. Developing, integrating, and supporting ASP.NET applications
3. Assessing and understanding business requirements.
4. Communicating clearly, professionally, and regularly with the project/functional manager
5. Develops software solutions by studying requirements analysis and information needs
6. Studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; performs software design using
software development fundamentals and processes, debug, test, and deploy software
solutions.
7. Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts,
diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code.
8. Transferring knowledge successfully to business through formal presentations and informal
training.
9. Must have a solid understanding in the practical application of agile development methodology.
10. As a senior, we require the developer to effectively organize and plan the tasks independently
to meet the deadlines.
11. Should be task focused and adept in problem-solving.
12. Since the software development operates from both onshore & offshore parallelly, the
developer must have very good communication skills.
13. Must have an appetite to learn, from the more standard developer procedures to the new
trends and technologies that are rapidly changing.
Desired Candidate Profile
1. Experience programming in .NET Framework, .NET Core, C#, ASP.NET & SQL.
2. Experience as a Developer in the analysis, design, hands-on development, and delivery of
web-based applications
3. Expert knowledge of software development processes and best practices utilizing .NET and the Microsoft technology stack.
4. Must possess a deep technical understanding of all aspects of Microsoft platform solutions.
5. Strong knowledge of various JavaScript libraries like AngularJS
6. Experience in designing, developing, and testing client applications as part of software
development cycle using an agile development approach.
7. Experience with service-oriented design.
8. Strong understanding of Object-Oriented design and implementation using the .NET
Framework, C#, MVC, and JavaScript.
9. Ability to write Stored Procedures, write complex SQL queries, and ability to analyze the SQL
data is desired.
10. Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services, SQL Server Analysis Services, and/or SQL
Server Integration Services a plus
11. Must work well in a results-oriented environment without losing focus on long term growth.
12. Creative thinker with ability to solve challenging problems in a collaborative setting.
QUALIFICATIONS
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (equivalent or related field)
2. A minimum of 8 years experience within an equivalent developer role.
3. A strong experience & understanding of front-end and Middleware development to be able to
take a design from our UX design team and deliver efficient software.
4. Comprehensive working knowledge with ASP.NET Core, C#, Angular & Bootstrap.
5. Strong knowledge of SOLID principles, IoT and dependency injection.
6. Experience in API development and ideally Azure API gateway products.
7. A strong understanding and experience in MVC, WCF and RESTful API development.
8. Azure DevOps for user story management, git SCM and CI/CD pipelines
Additional developer language understanding would be a great benefit.
