DEPUTY FACTORY MANAGER
Location : Gwalior Factory
Experience:7 to 10 Yrs. experience as Production Head of a Plant or Mfg.
Age Limit: Not more than 40 Yrs.
Education : BE Chemical Eng./Diploma in Polymer
Industry Preferred : Extrusion Based Industry.
Remuneration:CTC 18 to 20 LPA
Core:
1Reporting to the Factory Manager for all the matters relating to the daily activities of the company.
2Set plant performance targets, cost targets and budgets
3Primary goal is to ensure production of the required quantities of goods in the required time and the secondary goal
is to keep the costs down and to improve production methods, i.e. to find better and more economical ways of
accomplishing the primary goal.
4Control costs by optimum utilization of resources, adequate inventory control, adherence to Budgeted norms and
implementation of financial procedures and norms.
5Liaison with government authorities & local bodies for statutory compliance and manage the external environment
for smooth operation of the Main Plant and Ancillary Units
People Management:
1Set annual performance goals for the team, monitor performance and provide constructive feedback to improve performance.
2Identify training and development needs of the team and ensure their fulfilment through co-ordination with concerned departments heads
3Monitor adherence to company policies and code of conduct.
Key Interactions:
(a) Internal
1Interact with the concerned departments to achieve production and dispatch targets, improve productivity, quality and overall operational efficiency
2Interact to develop a production plan based on the demand forecast from the Marketing Department including adjusting the production plan in case of changing forecast
3Co-ordinate with the Materials Department for material planning timely procurement of material to meet production targets.
(b) External:
1 Build favorable relationships with Government, Statutory and local authorities to ensure compliance
2 Respond to inquires / complaints in an efficient and timely manner to project a favourable image of the company
3Represent the company on various forums and in legal matters as and when required..
(C) Industrial Relations:
1You should be conversant with our Company Standing Orders, Labour Laws such as Apprentice Act, Contract Labour Act, EPF & MP Act, ESIC Act, Employment Exchanges Act, Industrial Dispute Act, Payment of wages Act, Gratuity, Factory s Act, Minimum Wages Act, Payment of Wages Act, Trade Union Act etc., in co-ordination with Personal Department.: 3 :
(d) Personal Management:
1Intelligence, and have the capacity for dealing with new problems, energy, initiative and imagination, so as to be able
to advise workable solutions.
2Participation in the policy-making process of the management, think clearly, practically and with foresight.
3Have equitable temperament, with a liking for people and interest in their problems and ability to win their confidence
including the ability to convince and persuade and encourage when faced with ill-founded opposition and
prejudices.
(e)Financial Management:
1Monitoring daily imprest cash and bank accounts
2Approve expenses as per the budgets
3Forward / Approve expenses incurred by team/individual on petty expenses, medical, travel etc., as per company policy.
