Job Description

Responsibilities :-

Incumbent must have sound experience working with shipping outwards from Mundra port.Incumbent must have experience of working on hazardous / or dangerous goods shipments (our products are perfumes, which have a high alcohol content.
Handling all documentation including customs clearances in respect to exports consignments.
To work proactively and continuously to identify cost savings, service enhancements and process improvement for freight services to enhance customer satisfaction.
To work very closely with freight forwarders and port authorities to ensure the OTIF export of all the groups products.
To oversee the process of international export shipments including arranging for pick-up, in-land transportation, booking, document preparation (bill of lading, invoicing, certificate of origin, export declaration, wherever applicable), forwarding, follow-up with tracking and tracing until final destination and maintenance of quality data
requirements.
Informing customers of shipping options, transit times, trans-shipments, or regulations affecting movement of cargo etc.
To work on supporting all Ocean Export Operations.
Ensure timely completion of dispatches as agreed with the customers.
Ensure that documents related to export shipments are done on time with accuracy.
Ensure timely feedback on shipment status to customers.
Handling of custom clearances, declarations and entries correctly, and manage Insurance & other regulatory compliances.
To maintain customer service effectiveness by effective communication &
control through all the levels including vendors, shippers, customers,
carriers and overseas agents, transport companies, warehouses,
Production Department etc.

Skills & Competencies Required :-

Incumbent must be from Gujarat only
The candidate must have experience in Liaison with Mundra Port.
Must have handle Dangerous Goods and must be from EOU/SEZ.
Having experience in handling 15+ containers per month.
Must have dealt with a large volume of international shipping .
Any Manufacturing company (engaging in international exports) / Custom house agent / Freight forwarding company
