Job Description
1AccountingReview the work of team - accuracy of work, client-specific critical aspects are covered, monthly closing.2Finalisation of AccountsMaintaining accounts in audit-ready position throughout the year, [TO BE ELABORATED]
3Taxation & Statutory ComplianceEnsure all the statutory compliance & payment of taxes are done as per schedule. Avoid penalty and fines. In case of any delay coordinate with the Clients in advance.
4Budget / advance taxPrepare budgets/advance tax workings for the clients as per their requirements and share with client as per the schedule.
5AuditLiaison with the Statutory Auditors, Tax Auditors, Internal Auditors and GST auditors. Ensure that the audits are completed as per the scheduled time lines.
Resolve finalisation related queries raised by the auditors.
6Continual ImprovementEstablish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles.
Monitor the ongoing work processes/systems and do the continual improvement to improve performance.
7Team ManagementIdentify training and development needs of Team & provide guidance for improvement. Set goals for team members, assess performance & achieve team goals.
Team retention
8MIS & ReportingPrepare timely reports of financial performance, budget vs. actual, cost, compliance and as per client's requirement.
Prepare compliance trackers on weekly basis.
Update time sheets daily.
9Client Management & RetentionTimely communication with clients. Responsible for retention of clients. Client referrals
Proactively planning & communicating imp changes to business, processes, client's business / statutory environment
Visit clients for feedback/review of work as per schedule.
