Job Description

The Job

You will be responsible for :

Managing a team of 8-10 software engineers working on ABAP development projects.
Gathering business requirements from functional teams and translating them to technical terms.
Estimating development time and working closely with project managers to define delivery schedules.
Training and mentoring team as per the project at hand.
Performing complex object oriented ABAP programming.
Supporting SAP modules by contributing to implementation and enhancement activities.
Conducting unit testing and ensuring release is done in a timely and efficient manner.

The Profile

You possess a Degree in Computer Science or related discipline and have at least 6 years experience working on SAP ABAP projects. A minimum of 2 years experience leading tech teams would be preferred.
Proficiency in ABAP OOPs, webservices and related workflows is required.
You have worked on gathering user requirements and have a track record of delivering quality services based on those requirements.
You are a problem solver and can handle complex issues.
You can lead a team of 8-10 junior developers and take up occasional training and mentoring sessions to build a solid team.
